Younger Looking Skin Now With Ancient Anti-Aging Skincare Solution

With age, wisdom may come - but so do wrinkles!
Years will certainly take a toll on your skin, no matter how healthy you're trying to live. All of the nutritionists' advice and fitness gurus' following will not save you from losing your looks. Eventually, your young, radiant, dewy skin will live only on your old photographs.
Grim, isn't it? What a cruel joke: just when you are ready to start enjoying the fruits of your hard labor, your own skin will betray you. You may feel better than ever, more calm and secure in yourself and your place in the world, and - why not? - much wiser than before; however your face has definitely changed, but not for the better, unfortunately.
Luckily advancing age does not need to mean unequivocally putting up with wrinkles that are getting more and more deep and pronounced with every year passing by, complimented with sagging folds of skin on your face and body, spider veins, or telltale sun spots and blemishes.
There are many anti-age solutions for younger looking skin, ranging from prescription medication to elective surgery. And, of course, there is anti-age skin care as the most used, and universally favored, solution to return the youthful glow to your skin. With today's advances in skin care technology, skin care products are made to be no less effective than some more complicated, and maybe even invasive, anti-age treatments.
With a little help from anti-age skincare solutions, you can have younger looking, more radiant skin surprisingly quickly.
For instance, Skinception is known for its anti aging skin care solutions containing Argan Oil. While the technology is cutting-age, the oil use as a skin care product itself dates back to Phoenician times. Called "Liquid Gold", this oil will give you young, radiant skin.
Why not steal this ancient beauty secret and use it to your advantage? It will banish forever dull, dry skin and restore skin radiance and youthful glow. Skin firmness and elasticity will be greatly improved because this anti-age skincare solution works from inside to repair deeper skin layers and trap moisture in the skin.
You may have seen this product presented on TV shows such as America's next top model.
You may worry that your skin is already too oily to use this kind of skin care, or that oil in this Skinception product may clog your pores, but you don't have to: it's air-light and absorbs quickly and completely.
After using it for some time the only problem you will have is warding off compliments!
http://www.youngradiantskin.com is a place to discover the ancient beauty secrets that Argan Oil holds as an anti-aging solution for your skin.

Life, It Goes On

Unless you've opted-out of the world completely, it's likely that you have heard that the Windsor's have an addition to the family. The masses, it seems, can't get enough of it, so the media obliges. The new baby has helped to make State of Origin football, Tour de France cycling, British Open golf, and Ashes 2 cricket old news. Notwithstanding, news of the Royal's baby will follow-suit, too. Even though all of these events seemed so important at the time, the results are unlikely to prove life-changing for me, or anybody else. It's just as Robert Frost said when he was asked what he'd learned about life. He said, 'In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on.'
Life goes on is a good message for everyone. Even though things might not pan-out as we'd hoped - or maybe they did - life goes on is one thing we can count on happening. I suppose that's why always having something to look forward to requires constant attention.
When I wrote The Management Bible (it has just been published as Australian Management Essentials), I found that people had no control over more than eighty percent of things that they worried about. For the most part, worrying was a waste of time. Almost 2000 years ago, the Stoic philosophers (Epictetus, Seneca, Marcus Aurelius) recommended that we should examine rationally those things that we spent time worrying about. They claimed, that after spending thought-time on an issue, it was likely that the worst-case scenario was probably not going to be as bad as first thought.
Take an example of retirees worrying whether or not their nest-egg will last the distance and if they'd be able to survive on a reduced income. The Stoics would say that a rational consideration of this situation could lead to a decision to reduce the amount spent on wining and dining. The Stoics would argue that such a decision is unlikely to be life-threatening. If cutting back on wining and dining was the worst-case scenario, there was little point in worrying.
OK, OK, this advice has been around for a couple of thousand years. Here's a more-advanced approach. Whether you're worried, or not, try this.
  1. Move to where you can see the sky.
  2. Look upwards to the sky.
  3. Take note. Observe.
  4. Only if you notice the sky moving in a downward direction is there any need to be concerned. If the sky is not moving, you have nothing really to worry about.
  5. Deal with the hand you've been dealt, and move on.
Robert Frost arrived at his conclusion at the end of a life-lived.The Management Bible was reprinted thirteen times and remains one of Australia's best-ever-selling management books. Tens of thousands of people, hopefully, are aware that most things we worry about are a waste of time and energy. Epictetus alerted us to the fact that it's not what happens but how we respond that matters most; and those words of wisdom continue to be used today. So what are you worrying about?
Go and check-out the sky. Only if it's moving do you have any reason to be concerned.
Memories of events and how things panned-out soon fade. What, at the time, seemed like such a big deal rarely stands the test of time. The challenge is to deal with the hand we're dealt, and move on. Life goes on!

Does Cholesterol Cause Heart Disease?

A few years ago I went for my yearly physical exam. I had my blood profile done ahead of my exam so I am able to discuss with the doctor areas where there might be concern. My overall cholesterol was 210. To my surprise my doctor recommended a statin drug. What I did not understand was the overall cholesterol limit had been lowered from 250 to 200. This was just another push to get us 40+ aged people on statins by the drug companies.
My response was "Not going to happen." I had seen to many friends adversely affected by statins. I challenged him to produce any data supporting the use of statin drugs over a period of time without side affects. He became angry-I suppose-because I should not question his vast amazing knowledge. Wait a minute I said, "this is my body and I have a right to understand what effect a drug might have." Doctors should never bagger a person into taking any medication. It is the patient's final decision. Drugs in my estimation should be a last resort.
So began my research on this topic with some amazing finds. There was some good data and also some skewed data. What I come to find out was Cholesterol was not really the issue with heart disease. It has some components that produce problems but it is not the biggest component here.
To be sure, cholesterol indeed has its proper function in the body. It is produced by the liver and is a precursor to the sex hormones, it is necessary to break down and digest dietary fats. I found one study that showed that higher cholesterol levels actually increase longevity not decrease it. Another study showed where a doctor studied the cholesterol levels of deceased people who died of heart disease and found that a significant percentage of them had normal cholesterol levels.
So then, if cholesterol is not the main problem, what is? Inflammation. Anything that produces free radicals generates inflammation in the body. Free radicals are like little bullets striking and wounding the body. They are oxidized molecules freely flowing throughout the body creating damage. These free radicals are produced by high blood pressure, weight gain, trans or hydrogenated fats consumption, stress, smoking, processed food consumption, low activity or no exercise, refined sugars and possibly gluten found in wheat products. The link between gluten and heart disease is not fully established. But excessive consumption of wheat products (breads, pasta, pizza etc.) definitely produces inflammation and weight gain.
Like I said, cholesterol has a part to play. Medical professionals look at 4 components in a cholesterol profile, LDL, HDL, Triglycerides and Overall cholesterol. The Overall cholesterol is a combination of the other 3. LDL and HDL are the most important in the profile. HDL, the good cholesterol prevents arterial plaque build up in the vascular system. LDL, on the other hand can promote plaque build up. So if your blood profile shows a high LDL/HDL ratio (high LDL and low HDL readings) you could develop arterial plaque sometime in your lifetime. LDL interestingly enough is related to inflammation.
There three distinct methods to determine if you are on the road to heart disease. Do you know what they are? Find out by going to:

Best Wrinkle Treatment - Is It Botox?

Wrinkles are a part of the normal aging process, they can develop more commonly on the areas of the body that are exposed to the sun; forearms, hands, neck and face.
Exposure to the sun is one of biggest contributors to them, although genetics plays the most important factor in the structure and texture of the skin.
Smoking, dust, wind and heat are environmental exposures that can contribute to wrinkles also.
Nowadays there are plenty of options that could aid in the elimination or at least reduce their appearance.
Some of the most important wrinkle treatments are surgery, medications, fillers and skin resurfacing techniques.
What Causes Wrinkles?
There are many factors that can cause wrinkles development, but among them the next three are probably the most common.
Light skin: The sun can inflict more damage to people with light skin, which further increases wrinkles.
Smoking: According to the experts, smoking causes the skin a reduction in blood supply.
Genetic factors: If your parents acquired them earlier in life you have more possibility to develop them than if it was the opposite way.
Common Treatments
These cosmetic procedures are able to soften the lines that cause the sun, aging and smoking.
The results vary depending on the kind of treatment employed.
Facial fillers
These are injectable fillers, they are less expensive than traditional face lifts and could give you better results.
The results can be seen in less than a half an hour and could last to up one year.
Unlike Botox which relaxes the muscles, these fillers fill in the lines with many different substances, in consequence the lines disappear.
These fillers can be employed as volumizers for sagging hands, thin lips and cheeks.
Botox
This drug is made of a neurotoxin which is produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum that causes a disorder called botulism (a type of food poisoning) and it is used by doctors in little doses to deal with certain health problems, among them facial wrinkles removals.
Laser Resurfacing
This is a procedure to resurface the skin through a laser and better the look of the skin or deal with modest facial defects, among them wrinkles.
Chemical peel
This one employs a chemical solution to bland your skin texture by getting rid of the damaged external layers. Improves your skin appearance in one of the least invasive ways, it's primarily used on the face and also can be utilized in the hands and neck, it is called derma pilling or chemexfoliation also.
LifeCell Anti Aging Cream
LifeCell anti aging cream is an all in one cream that unlike many of the aforementioned procedures is probably the safest one. LifeCell is made of natural ingredients. The official website is so confident about it that is offering a thirty days trial offer.

Antioxidants For Anti Aging? Learn How To Fight Free-Radical Damage

When you think anti-aging, do you think of expensive creams, spa treatments or surgery?
If so, you might want to look at another less-expensive, and healthier alternative: Food. Certain foods can do much more than fight the outward signs of aging, they can also help ward off inner symptoms as well. Many problems of the body are caused by inflammation & oxidative damage done by free radicals. If you can fight these two causes, you can look and feel better. The foods you eat provide your body with the power to fight damage and inflammation, especially when you mix different foods together.
What are free radicals?
These bad molecules can be a byproduct of normal metabolism. Free radical damage can also be caused by exposure to pollutants in your environment, food or drink. Everyone is exposed to free radicals as a part of daily life, so it's important to know what they do and how you can minimize their effects on you.
Free radicals are formed when a molecule has an unpaired electron and becomes unstable. When a molecule is unstable, it will steal an electron from the nearest item it encounters. (usually a cell in your body) Then, the molecule that was robbed becomes a free radical itself, scavenging for a spare electron to use so that it will be stable again. They can damage almost anything they come into contact with, which is why the immune system sometimes creates them, and uses them as a weapon against invaders it deems harmful.
Because free radicals can create chain reactions by stealing electrons from the molecules that make up your cells, they can cause inflammation, cell damage, and signs of early aging. It's in your best interest to fight free radicals with anti oxidants. The best way to get your anti-oxidants, is to eat them. Since you really "are what you eat", the right foods supply lots of free radical fighters.
You can fight free radicals with lots of different foods.
Food is your most potent weapon against free radical damage. Certain foods & compounds in them have the building blocks your body is looking for as it stops free radicals in their tracks. There are many different compounds in natural foods that fight free radicals. They do this by having a spare electron available to lend. When one of these unstable free radicals approaches an anti-oxidant, the anti-oxidant gives up its extra electron, and neutralizes the danger. An anti-oxidant doesn't become unstable, because that extra electron was always just a spare. When you have plenty of free radical fighting supplies 'in stock' your body is able to deal with these bad guys right away. They don't get a chance to damage cells.
What are the most common anti-oxidants you can look for in foods?
Anthocyanins- These powerful helpers are the dark pigments in plants. Plants will add anthocyanins to certain items, in order to give them a rich, dark color. Things like blueberries, blackberries, purple cabbage, cherries, and pomegranates all have plenty of anthocyanins. Pale foods like cauliflower, white potatoes, and lima beans don't have any. There are even some exotic foods, such as purple potatoes, heirloom tomatoes (these may have streaks of dark red, purple, & orange) and black chia seeds with dark, rich colors for you to choose.
Betanene- This is what gives beets a dark red color. It's more potent than polyphenols, which are found in green tea, black tea, dark chocolate and olive oil. Don't discount polyphenols though, green tea has earned its reputation as a health drink for many reasons. NOTE: drinking raw beet root juice may lower blood pressure in people who have hypertension. If you're going to drink it, and are on medication for blood pressure, you may want to have your doctor watch over your progress.
Vitamins A and C are also antioxidants.
Most people know the benefits of these fat & water soluble vitamins, but overlook their property as a free radical fighter as well. Fruits and vegetables are rich in A and C. Paprika, dried parsley, cayenne, chili powder, and basil are all seasonings loaded with A. Citrus fruits, kiwis, peppers, leafy greens, guavas, papayas and even strawberries have lots of vitamin C.
Antioxidants work best when they're mixed together.
Taking a supplement of an isolated antioxidant generally isn't as effective as mixing together multiples in one meal. They all work with each other and build on each other's benefits. Notice how tomatoes have both vitamin C and anthocyanins. Adding seasonings to your food, like a tasty basil pesto, diced peppers in chili, or parsley in tabbouleh not only makes the food taste better, but it makes it healthier as well.
What's a great and easy way to add antioxidants to pretty much any food?
Chia seeds. Chia seeds are tiny, they don't taste like anything, and they're as easy to add as sprinkling or stirring into whatever you like. All of the anti oxidant foods mentioned above have one thing in common: they all have a flavor. Seasonings like paprika mentioned above are good... but you wouldn't want them in your cake, pudding or yogurt. With chia, you can add antioxidants, b vitamins, calcium and protein to almost anything and it won't change the taste. Make healthy dishes healthier, and power up your favorite foods by combining antioxidants... like fresh strawberries in yogurt with chia mixed in. You've got vitamin c from strawberries, calcium in yogurt and omega 3 healthy oils in chia. Does chia have any other antioxidants? Yes! The less commonly known, but still important anti oxidants of chia are myrecetin, quercetin, kaemferol, caffeic acid, and chlorogenic acid.
The possibilities are endless, and your menu is so much more interesting when you add healthy spices, and combine antioxidant rich foods like fruits, veggies and chia seeds together. Now that you know what to look for, enrich your menu with the tons of great recipes available all over the internet, and in natural cook books. You'll be surprised at how many options are at your fingertips!

If You Wear Makeup You Are Inviting Cancer Into Your Body

Before most women leave their house in the morning they have rubbed, sprayed and applied over a 100 different chemicals on their bodies and most of these chemicals are very toxic. This may sound shocking, even terrifying, but it's true. Now you may be checking the labels on your skin cream right now and see that it has the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) approval rating of being "safe for human use" but all that means is that when they tested the product it didn't give their subjects a terrible rash or made them break out in hives. It in no way takes into account the products long-term effects on people's internal health. No research has been conducted on the synergistic effects of the chemicals found in everyday skin care products. Manufactures continue to use phthalates in your perfume, alumin chloride in your deodorant and chlorhexdine in your antibacterial soap. These ingredients make for deadly cocktails.
Now your may be thinking to yourself, but my products say "Natural" so they must be safe. Products nowadays are full of words like "Pure and Natural" "Mother Nature Approved", but be aware, there are no standards for the word "natural" and natural certainly doesn't mean organic, though marketers are hoping this is what you will think. Any product can say "natural" or say contains "natural ingredients" if even one of the ingredients has not been significantly altered or submitted to any process that significantly alters the original physical, chemical or biological state. So, if your shampoo or body lotions contain extracts from cranberries it can be called "natural".
Many of the unpronounceable ingredients on the backs of your lotion, shampoo and conditioner bottles are "generally recognized as safe" are known as GRAS, this is because no chemical long-term testing has taken place. Be your own advocate and check for these ingredients to avoid:
Formaldehyde: a carcinogenic toxin found in nail products, hair colouring, false eyelash adhesive, shampoo and countless other beauty products.
Fragarnce/Parfum: "fragrance" means "hidden chemicals" like high levels of phthalates and artificial musks. It causes headaches, asthma, allergies and can affect the nervous system.
Lead: found in lipstick and hair dye. It is a known carcinogen and hormone disruptor. You must avoid lead!
Mercury: a heavy metal that is still in many mascaras and eye drops. It is linked to neurological impairment, and negatively affects brain development.
Mineral Oil: this one may surprise you as so many people think mineral oils are good - wrong! It is a clear, cheap, colourless oil by-product of petroleum. Mineral oil is the main ingredient in baby oil, lip-gloss, lipsticks, foundations and moisturizers. Mineral oil acts like plastic wrap on your body and doesn't allow your body to release toxins.
Parabens - shampoos, shaving creams, moisturizers and toothpaste. Parabens are linked to endocrine disruption, immunotoxcity, reproductive toxicity and increase the risk of breast cancer.
Phthalates: found in perfumes, deodorants and lotions. Phthalates are linked to hormone disruptions, liver, kidney, lung damage and cancer.

A Guide to Staying Independent and Moving Freely for Seniors

How is your strength, stamina, or energy level compared to five years ago? My work is about bringing awareness to specific movements in the body in order to improve and maintain the vitality that leads to an independent life. I see clients who have difficulty sitting, either because of chronic pain, injury, Parkinson's, MS or stroke. As a movement and awareness teacher, I have repeatedly seen powerful outcomes resulting in flexibility, pain reduction, better balance, relaxation and ease of movement. With such benefits, aging does not have to equate increased pain, rigidity, limitation and deterioration.
Our bodies are always changing and each part influences all other parts. Movement with awareness is a proven method to train the brain to reorganize itself from functioning with pain to experiencing more ease. By design, human beings are dynamic. By accessing the most important organ of the body, the brain, the quality of action becomes clearer and sharper. Movement with awareness is the key for the brain to form new patterns. Functions of rolling and crawling are directly related to functions of reaching and getting up from a chair. And as we get older, these functions separate independence from dependence.
The Katz Index of Independence in Activities of Daily Living defined the basic activities of daily living as bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence and feeding. All these activities require getting up from a chair. As we get older, the ability to reach for objects and get up from a chair means independence, or, dependence if they become too painful to perform on our own.
Although done with ease in our early years, getting up from a chair for many older adults becomes effortful and a clear strain on the neck, shoulders and abdomen. I teach individuals to be aware of where they are straining, where the movement stops and how all parts of one's self may be brought into moving as one. The key is to know how to function more intelligently when one's strength and stamina are reduced because of the natural ageing process. As a result of experiencing these movement lessons, habitual patterns are replaced with healthier ones. By using different variations of sitting up slowly and gently, the individual learns how to better organize movement with less effort. As a result of knowing how to use one's body better, one feels less fatigued and experiences better balance and posture. One's memory improves and the lessening of pain in the back and neck brings a confidence to want to move more freely.

The Truth About Night Creams

For years now, moisturizing night creams is one beauty topic that has remained under fire. Some doctors say that the anti-aging effect is mostly placebo effect, but some enthusiasts claim it has done miracles for their skin. The question remains: Do night creams really work against aging?
The concept behind these products is to renew skin cells and replenish collagen - a natural skin protein responsible for keeping the skin firm and elastic - at a time when the body releases growth hormones and is actively repairing damages accumulated during the day. The human body clock dictates that the body's restorative functions begin at 8pm, when skin cells are hydrated. From 11pm until 3 in the morning, regeneration occurs, and from 3am to 5am the body undergoes complete resting.
Retinol (otherwise known as Vitamin A), an active component of night creams, is rendered ineffective by sunlight. It makes perfect sense therefore that moisturizing night creams be applied when the body is most actively repairing itself, which is during the night. Retinol is highly effective for erasing existing wrinkles and fine lines.
In addition, such creams contain beneficial compounds such as Vitamin C, a known antioxidant that repels damaging free radicals and helps stimulate collagen production. Other essential elements in night creams include like vitamin E and coenzyme Q10, both of which have anti-oxidizing properties that prevent cell death; and essential fatty acids, which serve as a moisturizer and a barrier for harmful elements like UV rays and dirt.
However, there are plenty of anti-aging products - even heavily marketed ones that are backed by celebrity endorsers - that fail to deliver. You see, for it to work, a moisturizing night cream must have these potent ingredients in sufficient amounts. Sadly, in an effort to save costs, a number of companies only incorporate a little, just enough to pass regulatory testing. As a result, ingredients fail to seep into the skin and provide any substantial benefit.
Popularity is no guarantee that a night cream will work, which makes it all the more imperative for users to scrutinize such products well prior to purchase. There are creams that while not laden with marketing hype, contain sufficient concentrations of potent all-natural ingredients that rid the skin of wrinkles and age spots.
One of those less popular moisturizing night creams I love is XtendLife's Rejuvenating Night Cream. This all-natural thick cream combines the best anti-ageing natural ingredients, including CoQ10, honey, shea butter and vitamin E. It also contains avocado oil, an essential fatty acid-rich source; and the Japanese sea endemic kelp Phytessence wakame, an antioxidant that helps stimulate elastin and collagen. It is the only product that contains the keratin compound Xtend-TK, which promotes skin moisture and elasticity up to 42 percent, thus keeping the skin younger-looking and radiant.
Dermatologists have a word of advice though: No matter how potent a moisturizing night cream is, its effectiveness is lessened significantly by poor sleeping habits. An optimum seven to eight hours of sleep is recommended for the skin to renew and heal properly. Combine this with a diet rich in fish, fruits and vegetables; exercise; healthy lifestyle habits; and application of natural skin vitamins, and you can be assured of a healthier, wrinkle-free skin.

Five Tips to Achieve Healthy and Young Looking Skin

A lot of people think that maintaining your skin's youthfulness is something that is hard and not to mention, expensive to do. Contrary to this popular belief, you can actually achieve a healthy and young looking skin without breaking a hole in your pocket. Good skin care and healthy lifestyle choices are all you need to slow down your skin's natural ageing process. It is never too late to start taking care of your skin. So here are some no nonsense tips that you can do to get started.
1. Protect your skin from the harmful rays of the sun.
One of the top culprits of premature skin ageing is unprotected exposure to the sun. Sun worshippers, beware. Sun damage is cumulative so every time you expose your skin to the sun unprotected, your rate of developing wrinkles, age spots, and skin discolorations would be much higher and not to mention, much faster. To protect your skin from the harmful UV rays of the sun, it's very important to wear sunscreen every time you are going out. It is very important though to use a broad spectrum sunscreen with a sun protection factor (SPF) of at least 15 to get the most benefits. A non broad spectrum sunscreen just won't cut it. It's also good to wear protective clothing and accessories especially if you are staying out for long periods of time outside. Avoiding the sun when it's rays are the strongest is still the best, but if you can't just make sure to stay protected and reapply your sunscreen every two hours especially if you're doing outdoor activities.
2. Do not smoke.
Smoking is a vice that benefits no one. Apart from putting your health at risk, smoking can also make you much more older than you actually are. Every puff of that stick narrows the tiny blood vessels in the outermost layers of the skin, which in effect significantly decreases the flow of blood. As we all know, the blood supplies our body with the essential nutrients that it needs. A decrease in blood flow can deplete the skin of all the oxygen and nutrients that is important to maintain healthy looking skin. It damages collagen and elastin, which are the two important fibers that give the skin its elasticity and suppleness. Without it, lines on your face would be much more pronounced and you'll have an overall sullen aura which is not attractive at all. Do your skin a favor and quit smoking before it's too late.
3. Treat your skin with TLC.
Daily cleansing and moisturising are essential to achieving healthy and young looking skin. It removes trapped dirt and oil from your pores and helps keep your skin supple and well hydrated. It's very important though to use products that suit your skin type. Avoid strong soaps and facial products that strip away your skin's natural oils and instead, use mild cleansers. Go au natural if possible. It's also good to indulge in monthly facial skin treatments to keep your skin in tip top shape.
4. Eat healthy.
What you put inside your body can definitely reflect on the outside. If you eat a lot of junk food and processed food, your skin would look unhealthy, dull and not to mention oily. A healthy diet can help you look your best. Fruits, vegetables, lean protein and healthy fats can all help promote a healthy and young looking skin. Your skin will look more glowing, radiant and you'll have that natural healthy flush on your cheeks which is so cute.
5. Keep your stress levels to a minimum.
Unknown to many, stress can actually make your skin more sensitive and trigger a slew of skin problems. It's very important to manage your stress to encourage healthy skin. Take time to do the things you love and enjoy doing and you'll see after a while, you'll look more rested and renewed.

Non Surgical Options For Skin Tighting and Rejuvenation

In the cosmetic industry, skin tightening and facial rejuvenation are some of the most important aspects of anti-aging. But surgical procedures like a face lift entails risks that can be avoided with non invasive alternatives like Thermage or Fraxel. These are two very different systems but each offers benefits depending on the needs of the individual.
Thermage
The use of radio frequency is most popularly associated with Thermage, the specific brand name of a particular treatment system. The exposure to a very specific wave length of radio frequency emitted by the Thermage device causes the collagen under the skin to contract.
It also stimulates increased circulation and the development of new skin cells for healthy looking skin. It offers a non invasive face lift alternative for patients that want to reduce wrinkles and fine lines, tighten loose skin around the face and neck, or soften acne scars.
Fraxel
Unlike laser treatment, using radio frequency allows Thermage to treatment patients of any tone or type of skin. Fraxel CO2 laser offers a way to rejuvenate skin and heal scars or reduce visible wrinkles. It is different from the radio frequency treatment system in that it does not reach the deeper layers of the skin.
Instead, it uses the laser to cause damage to skin cells in tiny isolated areas. The body will attempt to not only repair and replace the damaged cells but also the cells surrounding them. After the old cells have been replaced by healthier young skin cells the texture is smoother and lines will disappear.
Both of these treatments can be used for more than just facial skin. Thermage is an effective way to achieve non surgical body skin tightening and Fraxel offers a way to rejuvenate the surface of the skin.
Lipotherapy
This is a modified version of traditional Mesotherapy to be more effective at targeting fat cells under the skin. A specially formulated chemical compound is injected directly into the area where treatment is desired and the solution reacts with fat tissue to breakdown and remove fat in the area.
The small amount of fat that is removed creates a vacuum that forces the skin to contract and thereby creates a tighter and more youthful appearance. Lipotherapy is a little more invasive than Thermage or Fraxel because there is a needle penetrating the surface of the skin making it a minimally invasive as opposed to a completely non-invasive treatment.
Each system has its advantages and limitations so it is a good idea to talk to a dermatologist or plastic surgeon in your area about the risks and benefits of each to determine what is best for your particular needs.

Ageing In Style

Most women and some men have problems with ageing. They are afraid of losing the good qualities they have while they're young. But ageing is a reality that can hardly be evaded.
And this is not solely a problem for those who are already in the process of ageing. Once you hit early twenties you will already feel all the growing old problems including the problem with ageing. You will feel less energy than what you had in your youth and you will also start seeing the visual signs of ageing. The signs usually start in the face and go down to the neck. It just happens and you wake up one day looking a lot older than before.
But there are certain ways for you to age gracefully. Aside from resorting to surgical procedures, there are a lot more things you can do in order to stay young.

Secret Principles of Immortality, Edition 24

At this juncture I have reached the beginnings of a fixed approach to the quest for immortality: on the one hand there is Law, which is the fateful immortal. On the other hand there are four senses of contract. These contracts embody considerable cleverness, personality, or sexuality.
Previously, the list of potential contracts was reduced to include the following paradoxical approximations, in addition to sheerly lawful and sheerly beautiful conditions:
1. 'a beautiful contract without a beautiful function',
2. 'a beautiful contract without the appearance of beauty',
3. 'an ugly contract that serves a beautiful function', and
4. 'an ugly person who seems paradoxically beautiful'.
If the struggle for immortality is an encounter with imperfection, it seems likely that it is also an encounter with the paradoxes of immortality. In that case, the path for immortal beauty or lawful intelligence, as previously written, may develop from these further things.
Elaborating the nature of the context with the structural assumption that the absence of a contract is a 'more original' and yet 'less developed' stage, we have the following:
A. Paradox (Ugliness)
B. Ugly Contract (Paradoxical Contract)
C. Secret Aesthetic Paradox
D. Official Aesthetic Paradox
Presumably stages beyond (D) would involve law or genuine beauty.
So let us permute them.
[AA, AB, AC, AD, BA, BB, BC, BD, CA, CB, CC, CD, DA, DB, DC, DD]
A. 1. Paradox of ugliness, 2. Paradox of an ugly contract, 3. Secret Beauty Answer, 4. Official Beauty Answer
B. 1. Artistic contract, 2. Ironic freedoms, 3. The secret artist, 4. Serious unknowns
C. 1. Secret answer, 2. Secret aesthetic, 3. Open and free answer, 4. Serious freedoms answer
D. 1. Honorary secrets, 2. Official aesthetic answer, 3. Aesthetic reality, 4. Initiation
Notice these paths are not necessarily revealed to everyone. This may appear as an understatement before the middle stages, and even in the later stages what one assumes to be the truth may fail to exaggerate appropriate aspects of the puzzle.
Of course, it seems possible to fail the system, and remain insignificant. Certainly it seems that the path, if I describe it accurately, is in one place a metaphor, in another place a bureaucracy, in a third place a strategy, and in a fourth place a form of citizenship. It is difficult to tell how these things relate, without forcing the 'player' further down the path. It is a method of compulsion, as much as a genuine form of psychology. But the two things are not the same.
Consider how a small mis-step in an early decision can lead all the way down the quadrangle. What if ugliness is a paradox after all? What if freedom or irony were misjudged or misguided? What if freedom wasn't free? What if one wasn't really initiated? There are ways to fool the mind that can still be constructive, assuming that construction is possible.
One should, in the first place, not assume that construction is impossible. Secondly, one should try to accomplish the most significant things, against all intuition, flying in the face of fate and fortune! On one hand, you may wish to kiss someone in the rain. It will make you more mature, even if the person didn't want to be kissed. On the other hand you may want to live your most significant years in retirement. Then, if possible, begin now! Changing your perspective depends on validating what you are actually thinking about. If you make a mistake, you have to justify that this is who you are, you are stuck with your own condition, you have made a certain kind of progress.
Returning to the list, we can see that it is a series of missed opportunities.
Initiation comes first psychologically. Aesthetic reality comes second. Isn't that refreshing? Official aesthetic answers come third. Good: real principles. Honorary secrets come fourth. Something to concern yourself with, to distract you from popularity or misfortune. Serious freedoms come fifth. A sense of reward, arbitrarily doled out for general benefit. The open and free answers comes sixth. Extending freedoms to include ordinary functions. Secret aesthetic comes seventh. The inner stillness of time. Secret answers come eighth, the transparency of the world. Serious unknowns are ninth, a differential engine. The secret artist is tenth, the ability for real accomplishment. Ironic freedoms is eleventh, a sense of self-justice, or genuine motivation. Artistic contract is twelfth, turning process into law. Beautiful, official answers are thirteenth, glorifying the works of the mind and body. Secret beauty is fourteenth, adding subtlety. The paradox of an ugly contract is fifteenth, saving the soul. The paradox of ugliness is sixteenth, creating self-love.
However, after these sixteen minor stages are over, it is important to keep the quest for immortality. These are not merely distractions, thus they are not distracting. The higher form of life may reach for successes that are entirely unimagined, yet life's contract is essentially ugliness, is essentially un-affording, and only reaches its pinnacle with great reason and resolve.
I will use the sixteen categories as a basis for further studies of immortality in later articles.
With that, this edition of the secret principles of immortality ends.

Uses and Side Effects of Botox Treatment

Botox is a trade name used for neurotoxin protein called botulinum toxin. This toxin is produced by bacterium Clostridium botulinum. If taken in large doses, this toxin might lead to botulism, which is a rare type of paralytic illness often linked with food poisoning. This protein has recently found its use in cosmetics. It finds its use in treating the fine lines, wrinkles, lazy eyes, and facial ceases. This treatment process uses a diluted form of the toxin to bring controlled weakness of the muscles so that the wrinkles and other facial lines do not increase.
Uses
Different types of botulinum toxin products are available with toxin A or B. These toxin products have different uses like treating eye problems, migraines, muscle spasms, cosmetic, overactive bladder, etc. The amount of medication delivered depends largely on the type of brand you are using. Talk to your doctor to choose the right type of product for Botox treatment. Botulinum toxin has various uses. It treats eye disorders like crossed eyes and uncontrolled blinking, reduces the cosmetic appearance of wrinkles, prevents headaches in people suffering from frequent migraines. It blocks the release of a chemical called acetylcholine and thus relaxes muscles.
Patients who do not respond to other medicines or cannot tolerate the side effects caused by those medicines can use botulinum toxin to treat overactive bladder. It also treats people who are suffering from some type of urination problems like frequent urination, leaking or urine and similar issues. If you suffer from severe sweating in your underarm, you can benefit from this treatment process. This toxin blocks the chemicals that excite the sweat glands to release sweat. However, make sure that botulinum is not a cure and the symptoms of the diseases returns back as the effect of the medication slows down.
Side Effects
One primary aspect related with the side effects of this medication is that it occurs at the site where the botulinum toxin is injected. Redness in that area, infection, bruising, and pain at the site where it was injected are some of the common side effects. Pain, nausea, dizziness, difficulty in swallowing food, respiratory tract infection like cold and flu, muscle weakness, etc. might also be observed after treatment through botox. Some individuals experience double vision, swollen or drooping eyelids, dry eyes, eye irritation, tearing, reduced blinking and increased sensitivity to light. If you have gone through Botox treatment and are experiencing any of the above-mentioned symptoms, you must contact your doctor as soon as possible. In case of eye infections, you might need to use protective eye drops, eye patches or other treatments.
When the patients of migraine use this medicine, they may suffer from headaches, neck pain and drooping eyelid as side effects. Patients with excessive sweating and who use this medicine might come across side effects such as no underarm sweating, respiratory infections like cold and flu, fever, headache, anxiety, neck pain and back pain. Treating overactive bladder through this process may lead to urinary tract infections, painful urination, fever, and difficulty in urination. If you received Botox treatment and any of the above-mentioned symptoms occur, talk to your doctor immediately.

Time to Explore.

Whether that means traveling to grand new places or picking up a hobby that interests you right in your hometown, you have the time to breathe and experience things that your previous life might have prevented you from experiencing.
